Towards the practice of attention and stress management
Consultant-researcher and teacher in the field of environmental sciences for 10 years, it is both the chronic stress and eco-anxiety observed in the population and in witnesses of natural disasters that led me to seek a practice-solution for well-being that is immediately beneficial and empowering for people.
With both a scientific and literary background, I wanted to equip myself with a support framework based on research in neurolinguistics and psycho-pedagogy and which could be activated by the person independently, when faced with an acute stressful situation as well as in a more daily and developmental practice.
Training and approach
In 2020, I discovered the benefits of practicing attention for primary school children during my SEVE course validation internship ( see box ). I have been practicing hypnosis since 2022, the year of my training in Attention Orientation and Consciousness Activation Therapies (TAC) provided by Doctors Jean Becchio and Sylvain Pourchet of CITAC, a collective of caregivers who constantly update and clarify their practice in light of knowledge in the field of neuroscience and experimental psychology , exchanges between practitioners and sharing of clinical results.
Attention orientation exercises, particularly among the youngest, and the reactivation of the many perceptual capacities that fuel our discernment are particularly important to me in the face of digital hyperconnection, the acceleration of rhythms and the artificialization of our living environments.
The accompanying material
During the hypnotic sessions themselves, we work from the resources, perspectives and references that you bring.
For my part, I strive to mobilize here and there poetry, vocal technique, philosophical questioning (maieutics) and drawing to facilitate the process and offer sessions "that speak to you" literally and figuratively. My sports and musical practices also shed light on the approach developed in solving problems, disorders or barriers that may restrict you in your creative and psycho-corporeal practices.
> Since 2020, I have been trained in the specific support of children and adolescents thanks to the training modules followed by the SEVE association for philosophy at school:
- Practice of attention with children and adolescents (PA): study of different methods to help children to observe an object or a sensation precisely and to concentrate
- Caring relationship with children and adolescents: understanding how children function and the impact of developing psycho-social skills
- Practice of philosophy workshops (PAP): get children to choose a philosophical subject, to take an interest in it, to develop their thinking, to listen to that of others
